Go-Ahead at the Stuttgart job fair

Stuttgart, 09.10.2019 – In its role as a regional employer, Go-Ahead Baden-Württemberg once again takes part in the job fair at the ICS (International Congress Center) at the exhibition centre in Stuttgart on 19 and 20 October.

The fair provides visitors with the chance to interact with more than 80 regional, national and international exhibitors, and to discover over 3,900 up-to-date career and job opportunities. Alongside many interesting presentations and talks on various topics, including lateral entry as a career opportunity or the application process at individual companies, an application photo service, application review service and other diverse orientation workshops will be available for visitors.

Those interested in a job—be it as a railway employee, career changers from regional rail transport or from the technical/craft trades—can visit Go-Ahead at stand 46 and discover what exciting work-related tasks are on offer as well as extensive opportunities for development. They will also have the chance to talk to Go-Ahead colleagues at the stand and learn more about individual job opportunities as on-board and on-the-ground customer service personnel, and especially as train drivers.

On 9 June, Go-Ahead Baden-Württemberg took over operations of the “Residenzbahn” express local transport (IRE 1) and the whole “Remsbahn” Regio transport system (IRE 1, REB 13) in the Stuttgart rail network.

Then, following the major schedule change as of 15 December 2019, there will be additional rail services on the “Murrbahn” and operations on the “Frankenbahn” (RE 8) and “Filstalbahn” (RB 16) in the Stuttgart rail network. With its latest-generation, wheelchair-accessible trains that run on an appealing and reliable schedule, Go-Ahead wants to make an important contribution to the modernisation and expansion of local public transport in Baden-Württemberg.

For the team in Baden-Württemberg, Go-Ahead is looking for more employees who share, implement and fully believe in its service-oriented philosophy. Future colleagues can look forward to a friendly working atmosphere and a competitive salary at the rail transport company. Furthermore, education and training programmes offer exciting possibilities for personal development.
