Go-Ahead to take part in the 1st Future Congress “Local Public Transport”

Stuttgart, 26.09.2018 – Go-Ahead Baden-Württemberg GmbH will take part in the first Odenwälder ÖPNV [Local Public Transport] congress on Saturday 29 September 2018. Topics including electromobility, mobility in rural areas, and traffic through the ages will take centre stage during the 8-hour event at the district administration’s head office in Mosbach.

The Minister for Transport in Baden-Württemberg and Member of the Landtag, Winfried Hermann, will open with a speech on the development of mobility in rural areas. After that, the objectives of public transport planning using the example of Neckar-Odenwald-Kreis, the objectives of public transport planning, the target concept 2025 from the perspective of the commissioning party, and the implementation of measures from the current transport plan will be discussed. Also on the agenda will be the possibilities and limits of electromobility as well as alternative structures in rural areas.

Guests will be able to speak with exhibitors and exchange thoughts and opinions on various topics in the get-together afterwards.

Go-Ahead will be at the congress with a stand alongside exhibitors such as S-Bahn Rhein-Neckar and Abellio GmbH.
