Berlin, 4 December 2019 — As of 1 December, Katinka Heppekausen, a 45-year old jurist, is the chief human resources officer at the Go-Ahead Verkehrsgesellschaft in Germany. In this role, she is responsible for personnel affairs within the entire Go-Ahead Group in Germany and reports directly to the Managing Director Stefan Krispin.
As a mobility service provider in the Stuttgart Metropolitan Area, Go-Ahead transports around 100,000 passengers in Baden-Württemberg every day. In Bavaria, the company will take over the public transport on the Allgäu Electric Network starting in late 2021 as well as regional transport on Line 1 of the Augsburg rail network in late 2022.
Katinka Heppekausen, a licensed lawyer specialising in labour law, has gathered fundamental experience in the area of personnel matters over the past 19 years. Before joining Go-Ahead, she was the personnel manager at the Stuttgart consumer loan bank Creditplus. Before that, she worked as the vice president of human resources at the communication network service provider Signalhorn Trusted Networks.

Heppekausen is taking the reins in the human resources department. She and her team will be responsible for recruiting new employees as well as for the supervision of the 400 current employees of Go-Ahead in Germany.
